Senior Media Planner Buyer/Account Manager

What we’re looking for:

 

We’re looking for a talented Planner/Buyer to join the experienced team in the London office. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of media planning/buying, within the UK market, have a good head for financial control and be passionate about delivering great campaigns for clients.

Job Purpose:

 

In conjunction with the Group Head you will be responsible for constructing accurate and fit for purpose cross-media schedules (with the support of the wider team). To negotiate market leading costs as well as keeping abreast of all changes in relevant media.

 

Acting as a day to day point contact for clients, executing signed off plans and ensuring smooth end to end delivery. Opportunity for line management and development of graduates.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Media Planning: Schedules deliverable in all media: Delivering specific media schedules across all media to a specific brief (including all media types). Ensuring that these schedules contain the most up to date information, have accurate construction (specifically in totaling costs and volumes) are consistent with the brand look and feel, and contain accurate and buyable prices.

 

Media buying: Negotiation: Working alongside the Group Head, you will create buying objectives for clients across all media types. You will ensure that all pricing paid is consistent with buying objectives and the agencies historical purchase price.

 

Media buying: Management / Reporting: During delivery you will be responsible for accurate reporting and keeping all parties informed of campaign delivery / results / optimisations. You will manage the end-to-end delivery for clients, ensuring the client is kept up-to-date and understands the health and status of their campaigns.

 

Information Services: new products and product changes: You will stay abreast of the latest developments within the media landscape (across all channels incl. digital, print, OOH and TV etc.) and ensure your clients are kept up to date with these developments. Where possible, you will build these new developments into the Agency’s offering and liaise with clients to keep their campaigns fresh.

 

Supplier Management: for external buying resource: You will liaise with third party specialists (e.g. Outdoor and Radio) to act as the point of contact for your campaigns. You must be able to understand and interpret the output for clients, and ensure value-for-money across the portfolio. You will also be involved in briefing third-parties and managing the project from end-to-end.
