ABOUT THE INVESTMENT TEAM

The Agency have a fully multimedia Investment Team which is broken down into AV (audio visual) and Display (Print + digital display). For this role as AV Investment Manager you would have a primary specialism of TV, but also a good knowledge and/or experience across Video, Cinema and Radio. Over the longer term they expect all our AV buyers to be fluent access the AV spectrum.

The Investment team is 50 strong and are plugged into each of the client groups across the business. A key focus for all of their buyers is to plug into the implementation process early to deliver the best results for our clients.

 

THE ROLE AND KEY DELIVERABLES

To work as an AV specialist within the multi-media Investment Team at the Agency. The candidate should be a self-starter with real enthusiasm for TV and media in general, is good at developing relationships, spreading TV knowledge in the AV team, and supporting senior management.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To plan and buy AV across TV, VOD, Cinema and Radio, on behalf of your clients as necessary
  •  
  • To provide direct and effective management of your accounts ensuring the requisite level of delivery and client satisfaction
  •  
  • To have a good working knowledge of all systems
  •  
  • To forge strong and collaborative working relationships with key media owners
  •  
  • To work closely with the planning department to develop efficient and effective client solutions
  •  
  • To build a good working relationship with your clients, demonstrating a solid understanding of their business and media requirements
  •  
  • To understand the audit process, to track and to deliver online audit commitments for your clients
  •  
  • To understand, monitor and maintain deal/ trading commitments
  •  
  • To demonstrate a good understanding of the current and future AV market, and related technologies
  • To be able to present confidently and articulately, to communicate appropriately within formal and informal situations
  •  
  • To contribute to market intelligence/insight internally and externally
  •  
  • To assist with all new business requirements as required

 

 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop a broad understanding of other media; Radio/Video/Cinema where responsibilities would include:

  • Understand the channel planning, buying and billing processes and how they work at the Agency
  •  
  • Understand channel measurement, terminology and tools
  •  
  • Knowledge of the channel’s marketplace, its trading dynamics, key products/ media owners
  •  
  • Understand the role and capabilities of those channels within the media mix
  •  
  • Be able to talk a client through an AV plan with confidence

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 2- 4 year’s buying experience
  •  
  • High standard of DDS, Excel and PowerPoint
  •  
  • Highly proficient buyer able to deal with appropriate levels of media owner
  •  
  • Must have prior experience of managing and monitoring client deals, and have some audit experience
  •  
  • Ability to work under pressure and be extremely organized
